Photo Challenge: Easy Being Green

A Controlled Burn

I'll take this gray rain
to soften my jaw; rounded
shoulders hang low and honor
the loss of a old heart
that held mine.

I'll take this gray rain
to smooth my brow, while
rising to meet the ash
easing to green, almost
but not quite.

It IS Easy Being Green!

I love the right angle in this picture. And the poem, beautiful. The in between moments hold so much.

Quietly wearing my heart on my sleeve, the world dares to evolve back to green. I remain in the netherlands, looking for a heart disappeared in the fog, unwilling to return.
